Invasion of the Blood Farmers (1972)

Invasion of the Blood Farmers" is a B movie to treasure. It's overflowing with the kind of priceless ineptitude that makes movies like this so much damn fun. The acting, for the most part, is terrible, the dialogue is riotous, and the premise absolutely delicious.

It involves farmers who are also druids, harvesting the people of a rural area for their blood. Investigating the corpse of one person who managed to get away, scientist Roy Anderson (Norman Kelley) and his loyal student Don Tucker (Bruce Detrick) find that his blood is able to increase in amount on its own.

As they do their sleuthing, the Druid in Charge, Creton (Paul Craig Jennings) explains the whole motivation and plot just to make sure we get it. (IMDB Scott LeBrun )

Orgy in the Psycho House aka The Erotic Circus (1969)

The Erotic Circus (1969)
aka
Orgy in the Psycho House

Decadent swinging speed dealer Louie (robustly played with sleazy aplomb by Louis Waldon) and his two equally debauched gal pals Debbie (foxy brunette Natily Clad) and Mary (busty blonde Mimosa Schoes) decide to pay a visit to Louie's oddball sister (a nicely bitchy portrayal by Cherie Winters), who lives in a secluded woodland area with her meek son Jamie (catatonic Jaimy Royale) and tormented caretaker Yenos (hulking Stephen Treadwell). However, things eventually turn nasty when a killer starts bumping off the unwanted guests.

Writer/director Henri Pachard makes inspired use of the bleak wintry landscape, maintains a grim tone throughout, does a solid job of crafting an appropriately downbeat and morbid atmosphere, and goes all-out bonkers with the climactic last reel bloodbath. Moreover, Pachard presents a satisfying cavalcade of sexual perversity: We've got rape, incest, sadism, lesbianism, and even transvestitism. The colorful array of deliciously deranged characters are a total twisted hoot to watch, with the glum and short-tempered Yenos rating as the definite creepy stand-out. The hypnotically gradual pace further enhances the overall air of pervasive peculiarity. The gore effects are pretty crude, but still do the trick just the same. The rough cinematography by Arthur D. Marks provides a suitably scrappy and unpolished look while the wild'n'jazzy sitar and organ blasting score hits the right-on groovy spot. A real curio. (IMDB  Woodyanders)

Mill of the Stone Women (1960)

Mill of the Stone Women (1960)

A young artist named Hans is hired to do a study of a famous local landmark,a windmill that contains stone statues of notorious female monsters of the past. One day he meets a mysterious, dangerously beautiful woman at the mill. Before long,he is drawn into her clutches.Giorgio Feronni's gloriously colorful horror film "Mill of the Stone Woman" is obviously influenced by Georges Franju's horror classic "Eyes Without a Face" and Mario Bava's "I Vampiri".Admittedly the first half of the film is pretty slow and rather confusing, however there is enough eerie moments to satisfy fans of early 60's Italian Gothic horror. The location sets are truly atmospheric, for example the crumbling mill of the film's title is a decrepit place, filled haphazardly with ominous statuary and ancient religious icons. So if you are a fan of Italian horror you can't miss this gorgeously photographed gem.
